Donate Today to Support Autistic Persons
August 21, 2024 will make four years since we have become a nonprofit organization! In honor of our anniversary, we are hosting our annual fundraiser. We would love for you to consider donating to us! Here's what people have to say about our three initiatives!
Accessible Faith Initiative
- Using these downloads [Accessible Faith Initiative Toolkit and handouts] were amazingly helpful for our church. We made a decision to celebrate Autism Awareness Month and these toolkits and guides allowed this to happen in just a couple of weeks of preparation. This saved us having to build programs from scratch. We could print, share, and quickly find what worked for us.
- I'm just so thankful to have some additional tips and ideas of things to try and to offer as suggestions, not just to churches that might be interested, but various community organizations, as well.
- We found that our kid's resonated with it [the prayer guide]. Many of the children (neurotypical and neurodivergent) all seemed more at ease with the discussions, prayers, and focus than many of the adults. That was eye opening for some who felt that topic my be too much for some of the kids.
Manna from Heaven
- With inflation this was a awesome way to help families that have been affected by autism have a way to keep food on the table.
-
This program came at the right time! We needed groceries and it was a great help with our finances being limited. Manna from Heaven is exactly that a blessing to us. Thank you for all you do!
- My son was very proud to use the $50 gift card to help buy part of our Thanksgiving meal. He has a few dishes he is also planning on cooking. He has come so far with being independent in the past couple of years and Manna From Heaven gave him an opportunity to really feel good about this Thanksgiving Meal.
Cheerful Giving
- Having a child with special needs creates so many challenges including financial. We were able to get items my child NEEDS, but we otherwise couldn’t get right now. We’re very appreciative.
- Christmas is a tough time. It’s very difficult to watch other families celebrate the holidays in traditional ways when that is not possible for us. It’s refreshing to not only be included, but “set apart” to receive a special gift. Thank you!
- The Cheerful Giving Initiative offered meaningful support to my family by supplying my daughter with items that I could not afford. We have out of pocket medical expenses that make extra's like sensory items hard to buy. I am so thankful for the support we received!
